Highlights include more itineraries featuring Music City, onboard performances by Lee Greenwood and a City Stay Package

American Queen Steamboat Company invites guests to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of Nashville with newly added itineraries sailing to and from Music City. With the addition of the new American Countess to the cruise line’s fleet of authentic paddlewheelers, the cruise line has updated its programming for 2022 with a reimagined Music City Stay Package, more special edition voyages featuring Nashville and additional performances on board by country music legend, Lee Greenwood.

From Clarksville’s (Nashville’s port for American Queen Steamboat Company) proximity to Music Row to Memphis’ Beale Street to Louisville’s bourbon heritage, guests will delight in the discoveries that await on these itineraries each anchored by the sounds of Nashville’s incredible music scene. Special edition voyage highlights include the Bourbon – An American Spirit itinerary sailing from Louisville to Nashville, the Celebrate the 70’s voyage, sailing from St. Louis to Nashville, and the Star-Spangled Cruise, sailing from Memphis to Nashville. Celebrating the Fourth of July, the Star-Spangled cruise offered on the American Countess and American Queen will also welcome world-renowned country music artist and Grand Ole Opry member Lee Greenwood on board for a special performance for both sailings.

“With demand for our close-to-home offerings still on the rise, expanding our offerings that celebrate the many dynamic U.S. river cities we visit, like Nashville, was a natural next step in ensuring we are meeting the interests of our guests,” shares Shawn Bierdz, president, American Queen Steamboat Company and Victory Cruise Lines. “Whether a novice fan or country music aficionado, Nashville is an incredible destination. We look forward to further showcasing the city to our guests throughout the 2022 season.”

Guests sailing on the Star-Spangled Cruises can also choose to experience the three-day, two-night Nashville Music City Stay Package which features some of Nashville’s most celebrated and renowned musical attractions, including the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
