Captain Meriwether Lewis Steamboat Museum of Missouri River History

The sidewheel steam dredge CAPTAIN MERIWETHER LEWIS was built in 1932 by the Marietta Manufacturing Company for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. The boat is now permanently docked by the river in Brownville, NE, hosting the Museum of Missouri River History. The CAPTAIN MERIWETHER LEWIS is a sister boat to the WILLIAM M. BLACK and the WILLIAM S. MITCHELL.
