On my return trip on the Ohio River from Cincy I came across the sternwheel towboat Lady Lois at work at Madison, IN. She is handling the spud barge preparing for work on the bridge. I was told that the bridge will be closed for about a year starting this winter and ferry operations will begin for the duration. It's nice to see a sternwheeler at work. This is a photo taken yesterday.
