Thanks for that wonderful Christmas present, Tim! Some of those folks I have not thought about for years! Though I never worked on the MQ, I did know a lot of those folks.

The lovely blond ? by Ray is Julie Helm. She is now Mrs. Ray Leach and they live in the mountains on the AK, OK border. Ray was often mistaken for Charles Manson. However Manson got caught, Ray never did, excet by Julie. I have often believed that Ray and Julie were the basis for Beauty and the Beast. I visited with them at there home about 5 years ago and talk to them several times a year.

You're right.....but wasn't she dating the band member who played the guitar named Dave Jacobs? .....and what was the name of her daughter that she brought on board to work in housekeeping with her?

Thanks Fred I couldnt remember Julies name. And of course if your from this era you should remember Rusty and his GF and I cant remember her name but we called her High Pockets. Rusty had long Red hair and was a Jr. Engineer and was killed by a drunk driver on his way to the NOLA airport to pick her up. She was a maid from Ky. And how about Michelle the 300 lb.+ maid. She went towboatin for Exxon as a tankerman.

That's Syl LaFata on clarinet, Bill "The Colonel" Coburn on trombone, Stan "Papa" McAuley on piano (and trombone in the middle pic) Stan's wife, Dottie ran the gift shop. Doesn't that look like Dan Forman in back of Dave Jacobs and his tuba?

In the photo on right, it's Fuzzy Ballard on clarinet and I can't think of the drummer's first name, but his last name is White. That's before Bill Hawkins (Greg's dad) came along.
