    identifying a calliope tune

    I almost don't dare to ask because I'Ve heard this tune so many times on a calliope but admit that I never cared for the name of all these wonderful tunes ... Can anyone help me out?

          If you go toe theryles.com you will find mid page this song as recorded on the Avalon about 1961 with Doc Hawley in a slicker and all at the keyboard. I have several CDs made from the original vinal master available. Enjoy!

          The image shown on the web site is how the same stretch of river looked about 1900 to 1910 that is currently shown in the river cam at Rising Sun. The casino boat sets on the mud flat on the Indiana shore above town now that about 20 feet of water has been added thanks to boith the 1920's and 1960's sets of high lift dams. Capt. Jesse would be amazed.
