    Her Honah the Mayor

I was dispappointed that Her Honor the Mayor was not holding office hours on the day we were in Rabbit Hash in May. Maybe I should have called first. I wonder if she has voice mail? Although I did not meet the Mayor, my wife and I enjoyed our time at the store. Rabbit Hash is truly the Center of the Universe as one wise man said. But then what do I know?

Judy: Sigh, Junior, the black lab mayor of Rabbit Hash may well have done the very thing you say. Alas, the history of Rabbit Hash Mayors is short and clouded with mystery/controversy! The first mayor was bad to baptise auto wheels...Some opine that one day an 18 wheeler parked over nite in town and he did himself in! Junior, the second mayor of that august place may have met his demise in a similar fashion with the GVII...I mean, have you seen the size of the wheel on that boat??? The current mayor is a female and we may be spared some of the foibles of her predicessors. Cap'n Walnut

    GVII across the river

I heard the boat located over yonder because the Rabbit Hash mayor was demanding a kickback, something like a lifetime supply of Milkbones, and casinos being as honest as the day is long, refused. (Wasn't yesterday just the shortest day?) Anyway, greetings of the season from the home of the old Kahlke Boatyards on the UMR.

Sam: The GVII looks great! Best wishes from Gunpowder Road too. I wonder how many on here know that the GVII is forced to dock across the river in Greater Rabbit Hash (known by some as Rising Sun) due to the congestion at the ship yard and the Rabbit Hash Marina. Periodic ferry service has been offered between those points by MISS DEMEANOR and MISS BLUE aka MISSIE I and MISSIE II. Some on this board have availed themselves of it! The steamers are now laid up for the Holidaze. Cap'n Walnut
