The Str. Julius C. Wilkie museum boat at Winona, Minnesota. She formerly was the wooden hulled towboat James P. Pearson, built at the Kahlke yards in Rock Island. Retired in the 1950's she was a museum boat at Winona until set ablaze by vandals in 1981. Almost totally destroyed, her stacks, wheel and other parts were salvaged and incorporated into the new Wilkie Steamboat Center. The photo shows the original boat before it was destroyed and rebuilt. Thanks very much to Keith Norrington for the picture!
