Howard Steamboat Museum
The Howard Steamboat Museum is located in the former home of the Howard family built in 1894. The Howard shipyard built steamboats like the J.M. White, the Robt. E. Lee and the Cape Girardeau / Gordon C. Greene. The museum is featuring the history of the Howard family and shipyard as well as the history of the steamboats built by Howard. Lots of steamboat artifacts and models can be seen.
