Yes, Pete is was a great ride. The towboats are always of high interest to passengers so what better way to become even more informative than to experience it. I am also writing an article about the trip. It isn't easy to get on as a guest but I had an advantage. I used those magic words, "Delta Queen". Everyone loves the DQ and they were happy to oblige. The captain and crew were outstanding and helpful, making my 9 day trip a success. I will be sharing the information with the other Riverlorians, so that all passengers may benefit from this trip. Even with over 30 years on the rivers, I learned a great deal and got a bonus....a wonderful time.
