Captain Carl Henry of the Julia Belle Swain, where I am working this season, has been teaching me a little about steering. I was at the helm just above Lock #8 on Thursday and then again on Friday. It was very cool! 1079 hours to go! Can you see this little HRC as a Pilot, one day? Tell the DQ, Buford, Chief Dennis, Craig and everyone hello for me! Can't wait to see you guys in about 3 months!
