Judy, The only work being done on the AQ right now is I have been walking her huge ass 2 times a day and tending her lines! She could literally sail away from the dock with 2 days prep, no kidding! Gosh darn these new fangled boats! They are too pretty and too easy! Seriously, she is ready to go, with the least amount of prep, I was on her today and had to shoo away the sparrows who were fliting around inside the dining room, someone had left a door open, but there were no bird casualties, as I gently ushered the last freeloadin' bird out of the door! The AQ rests well and could sail tommorrow! Speaking of birds, a sweet, gentle dove has built her nest on the starboard Texas Deck of the Delta Queen in the overhead wiring harness, I wouldn't think of disturbing her, as she has plenty of time to hatch her chicks and send them on their way, long before we are scheduled to go to the shipyard! I will make sure she is unmolested, and sucessful in her family task. as, to put it gently, I was directed to do so by " a spirit on board!" You better believe I will listen! I am sorry to hear of your family loss and hope you can return to the "steamboat Loop" as soon as possible. Talk to you soon.
