Judy,
You are right, it was 1980, not 1981 as I had stated. When I got home from work yesterday, I went on a trip down memory lane and pulled out the photos of the new wheel in the yard @ Jeffboat. As well, I have a news paper clipping form the Louisville Times (our former evening paper in Louisville) showing the wheel ready for installation on-board the Str. Delta Queen.
For some reason, I do not have any shots of the wheel being installed. I can't seem to remember why I was not present at the install, nor have any pictures.
Thanks for the update! Like yourself, would love to see Dennis Schenk get on here.
