Subject: CLIA report on 2nd quarter cruise volume. |

Hi, gang: Those of you who keep up on cruise ship/cruise boat business affairs nationally/internationally should click on: cruisenews@tripvalue.com for news on cruise ship booking volume and related interesting data. CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) member vessels reported 100.7 % bookings in first six months of 2003--something of a surprise. Alas, airline volume is down for the month of August. Don't ask me about the .7 on the reported 100.7. Do the extra passengers sleep on deck? DELTA QUEEN vessels were CLIA members some years back. Are they still? Frank Prudent and Phyllis Dale may know for sure. Cheers, R. Dale Flick
