Good morning, Miz Lil - Thanks so much for telling me
about your Whitehead family ties. Yes, I knew Harold
and know Vivian; she and I were in high school at the
same time...that is, she went to Obion High School and
I at Hornbeak, but this is a small county community,
and all us kids knew one another from all 11 high
schools. She and I have been friends for MANY
years...too many to speak of. <:)
Vivian doesn't own the local funeral home, but is the
funeral planner, and has been there for many years. In
fact, from a "customers" viewpoint, she runs the place!
I have wanted to attend S&D since I became a member
several years ago, but the date of the meeting always
conflicts with the national muzzleloading matches at
Friendship, IN, which is a part of my job. Tom and
Carol (at whose home I'll be staying during Tall
Stacks) are also members of S&D, as well as NMLRA;
we've been trying to figure a way to get over to
Marietta for several years, but it just never seems to
work out. I know we are missing some wonderful times
and friendships. Maybe on
