It was 22 at Saverton, MO. just below Hannibal.It happened May 15, 1982. Lexie was not fired then, but within the year. That was one of the things they used, but it was a personal situation they didn't like, so they dumped her. She built her own little steamboat, the Graceful Ghost, and she and her husband run that on Lake Caddo in Uncertain, Texas now. Thanks Kris for the on-board report. I had heard from Dan Forman but no one else. Someone was out in their pleasure boat and sent some pictures they took from fairly close up and they watched the evacuation process. You may remember that Dan used to write songs about the various towns. He had written one about locks, which needless to say, he no longer could use after that incident. Jim was fired because he tried to remove the boat without contacting the office first. .........
