Tom- The real African Queen was owned by the man who owned a Holiday Inn at Key Largo, FL in the keys. I heard that he recently died so I'm not sure as to the current status of the boat. The boat was maintained in it's run down appearance as in the movie but they did offer cruises aboard her. A place to inquire would be at www.steamboating.com, a web site for us small steamboaters.
