Capt. Mike - I have been following your logs and postings. I agree with the Starlings that you should put together a book. It would be attractive to steamboaters. You have a way with words. As Frank X. Prudent said, they cause a lump in the throat and in my case, misty eyes too. When I left the DQ in Galveston last Dec. I wondered if it was all over. Thanks to the efforts of Phyllis and you and the good folks in NO we will all be steamboating again. I am really looking forward to the Reunion Cruise on the MQ in July with Phyllis and Bud Black. I'm sure that there will be a lot of old friends on board - crew and passengers. Please keep those logs coming and thank you for writing them.
