Judy, your playing with numbers is very interesting but you've missed a huge amount of additional revenue from the passengers personal purchases such as drinks, gift shop items, shore excusions, etc. I know about 10 years ago an executive with the DQSC told me that they tried to get an average revenue, including the cruise fare, of $300 per passenger per day. When I was on the DQ in 1967 Betty Blake and Bill Muster set the fares so that the break even point was just below 60% occupancy.
