Fabulous!!Capt Mike, we hope you are compiling these Captain's Logs into book form; the story they tell is, as was said about Duke Ellington's music, BEYOND CATEGORY!!! Our very first Steamboat cruise was on the MQ, and as of last Dec (Galveston to NO on the DQ) we have done 12 - some on each of the 3 Magnificant Ladies. (12 is not many compared to some cruisers, but since discovering Steamboatin' we don't even consider "Blue Water" cruising anymore!!) Rarely a week goes by that we don't extoll the virtues of the river cruises to people who have not been aware of them, and almost always by the time we get through with our tales of history, informality,laid-back fun, and WONDERFUL. DEDICATED SAILING COMPANIONS - they are ready for more information! We are SO excited about the return to the Heartland, and will be aboard, God willing, on the Memphis to Nashville run at the end of May. Haven't yet booked for later on the DQ, but the only reason is that I have to find out after we return in early June about some needed surgery. Once that is detailed, we hope to book in December to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary (Paul and I are truly blessed; we each had many years with loving spouses, now deceased, and now have each other and the Steamboatin' Experience!! Can't wait to see both old and new friends on that cruise - and Paul will have material with him to make the Friendship Boxes Created By Blind Faith and the "Anti-Stress Cubes" that we have spread all over the USA via the Delta Queen Steamboat Company as loving gifts to many of the SO special people
