Phyllis, I used to hear tell that some of the weirder names of Greeneline boats "came that way"...the Greenes bought em already named and while gasping in horror, they kept the names because they knew that the names meant something special to somebody else? Love, Jane P.S. There was a HUGE picture of the MQ in the paper this A.M. with its stacks down. ( God, is that an ugly boat! Ha! Ha! Just kidding!:) Oh and another thing, for local folks here in Cincy, there's a special on the Bicentennial of Ohio tonight on ch 48 at 8:00 and its previews show alota steamboat shots.
