With the gray weather, we were running a bit late, but we got to the wharf just in time to hear the AQ blow her whistle. We sat and watched the preparations for departure upriver, including telegraphing the stacks to pass under Colonel Ellet's grand old bridge. Boy, does that calliope sound good in rainy weather!
