I'll spare y'all the details of my recent wonderful trip on the Delta Queen...just believe me when I tell ya that it was great. Passengers were really into all the activities and history...even appeared to dig my speeches which were fraught with my usual outrageous humor, delivered in much the same spirit as my daddy who was a very funny man, given a microphone. Buit this Sam Rhoades, honey, is one fine dude..ya wanna hold on to this one..not just because he's restored my faith in the human race in general, but frankly, he just might be the next "Simonton", should the DQ find itself in dire straits again, if ya get my drift. He definitely has the "wherewithal" to save the Queen...not JUST the moolah, but more important, the love for the boat and its history and grandeur. He gets it. This Sam is a keeper. Love, Jane
