Mr. Oakley: Haven't heard anything yet about what the St. Charles City Council meeting decided at their meeting yesterday. They were to consider several proposals before deciding who will be the recipient of the boat. The council had earlier voted unanimously to give the boat away -- simply to get rid of it! The only contacts I know of in St. Charles are the Convention and Visitors Bureau -- which has a website. Steve Powell is/was the director the last time I had contact with them.
