I will not respond to the negative comments but I will wish all of the loyal steamboaters who read these messages to take the high road and continue to support the products they so dearly love. Your continued support of DQSC will go a long way to insuring that the company stays afloat for the future. Hopefully the Ambassadors folks who bought the boats will make a profit and insure the company's future. Their plans and mine were not in sync at this time which is why I will not be staying on with their combined operation. Contrary to several opinions I have seen it is not easy to make a profit with the high overheads of these vessels. But I guess it always looks easier from the outside.
In any case, I m going to spend a nice summer with my family after living out of a suitcase between Buffalo and New Orleans for the past 9 months while running DQSC. I have made many great friends on the river and will hold on to those positive feeleings as I approach the future.
