Subject: Re: Delta Queen-Passed RH Downbound @ 41?

If the DQ got off at exactly 6 PM, and assuming that the QUEEN's passage at 9:41 was correct, the running time would actually be 3.41 hours. The exact distance from the Cincinnati Public Landing to the GV2 dock is very accuartely estimated at 35.7 miles. So the average speed of the QUEEN would then be 10.47 mph. As the river is in pool, with very little current running, my best guess is that the DELTA QUEEN actually averaged 10.41 mph.
