Entertainment Update - sorry the message went on before I even wrote it! Isn't this modern technology wonderful!
Band Director is Glenn Wilson, formerly with the Ed Wise Band, and the only returning member of either of the former bands. This is for the first three and a half months - til August 13th - we don't know who will be aboard after that, other than to hope that it will be possible to get some former band members back, by offering them a better employment package.
Glenn Wilson and the Steamboat Stompers:
Cindy Laverty is on Piano and Calliope; Kirk Kuykendall on Bass and Beau Hampton on Drums.
Only a 4 piece band.
Laureen Niamesney is the DQ's new "songbird".
They have a couple of new shows and have updated a couple of the old ones, and they're very good, as is the overall entertainment. We just have to get used to some new faces in the crowd.
