SAM, if you please. Assuming, of course, that the time the DELTA QUEEN passed was exactly 9:41. As "41" plays into my series of personal numbers, I will instinctively go for a 41 instead of another number close-by. You see, I was born in October '41, or 10-41. I lived on 41st Street. The first home I owned was 1041 Russell; the Zip Code there was 41011 wherein lies the exact date of my original arrival: 10-11-41. The radio call sign of the DELTA QUEEN is WA 4141. So I regret to tell you that I may have unwittingly misled led you as to the exact time of the DQ's passing and thrown off your impressive calculations for the average speed of the boat coming down the river.
