What Bruce and Keith did was most valuable to the BELLE, but if the engine room crew and, I believe, Kenny Howe did not ACT on it intelligently, it would have been for nothing. Keith reported good progress from the engine room of the BELLE during the race but said that the BELLE was so loaded that her crank arms were splashin' water! I won't be surprised to see her fuel bills come down a bit. I'd be most interested to know what was found when they open her up last winter and what they did to the engines. Another hit or two off that Pocahontus Water of Ted's, and who knows what might happen???
