For the Race Matrix:
The mate in 1963 was Captain Fred McCandless, of Paducah, last master of the Charles F. Richardson.
The mate in from 1969 through 1975, and maybe later was Joe LeBoeuf, retired from the U.S. Engineers.
The pilot listed as Harris was Harris Underwood, Paul Underwood's brother. The engineer who took Dave Crecelius's place was probably Mike Pfleider, and he was certainly the Belle's engineer for many years in the '80s and '90's. Today the chief is James McCoy.
