Unfortunately, I'm an Ebay 'expert', and I suspect that
the Racine got in the title either because the postcard
company was there, or the seller bought the card there
and is trying to generate local interest by including
Racine in the title. That boat never was there. It was
built by the Swains but originally named the Charles E.
Cessna. It ran in Florida, but the Swains repossed her
in 1916 and renamed her JBS at that time. Swains ran
her on the Illinois River. In 1924 they sold her and
she went to Pittsburgh, where she burned in 1931. She
was quite a bit bigger than our current JBS: 169 x 34 /
108/22 and a whole lot uglier! ...........
