Correct on being "bumped", but my grandparents were offered another cruise date if they so desired, which they initially considered after their interviews from the FBI and the Secret Service. They did however get bumped from their rooms....as in those days my grandfather preferred 240 when he travelled with grandmother or one of us...they instead were moved to the cabin deck (103, I believe), as Jody Powell then occupied the stateroom of 240...as I was told by my grandfather...so whether or not that is true....not sure.
