Another item resurfaced tonight: the WJ Sept. 79 with the Carter trip. It pointed out that contrary to media reports, no regular paying passengers were bumped. 38 people on comp: some travel agents, some passengers being compensated for bad experience were bumped. But all passengers who had paid regular fare made the trip. The media protested the Carter team rules about when and where he could be photographed aboard, so they boycotted the boat on board. They just followed it on shore. Can you imagine how crowded it would have been with that horde aboard? And Ted, there was an article and picture of Greg ABBOTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
