Keith, We have four of those wooden life floats on the Barbara H. Apparently there were once 6 of them (according to old photos) and that explains why I have 2 extra float hangers in the tool room. Of the four, 3 appear to be orignal to '23, with old paint scheme underneath. One was missing when we got the boat, so I've had to fabricate that one. None of them are balsa wood. I'm wondering if any of the old floats exist from the LORETTA HOWARD, or more likely, the D.W. WISHERD with Campbell Transportation Co. markings...
