Frank, Thanks for the explanation. I'm glad to know that at least the engineroom end of the telegraph on the BELLE is from the GORDON. I remember seeing a photo of your dad in the engineroom of the GORDON with that telegraph prominently in view. I'll bet that old pilothouse telegraph that was rescued from the RIVER QUEEN is still around St. Louis somewhere!
