Well, I've got two: one out on the storage shed and one
sitting on the pile of stuff in the second bedroom! And
I got them legally, both from the Natchez. For a
while, the watchmen were taking them into the Dining
Room at night and locking them up because we were
losing some during the night at the wharf. Of course,
when I heard some were missing, and knowing my
reputation for collecting, I announced to our
illustrious captains that I hadn't taken them! Actually
Doc started saving stuff for me when they'd remodel
during layups and now Steve, Don, Finley and Chuck the
Chief Engineer are in the act now. Sometimes I think I
could reconstruct the Natchez with all my souvenir
pieces. I've got something geekier than ring buoys,
Dale - I'll bet you don't have 3 plugs of cement from
the new Toulouse St. Wharf which they cut out to put
in a railing post!!!!!!!!!!
