Hey, Jane:
We're all on a cold winter's day 'roll.' Phyllis Dale and Judy Patsch are right when they say steamboats.org can be adicting--in a good way. We're all friends now thanks to this terrific medium.

Jane, only YOU can tell us about the 'etiquette' and 'foibles' of 'who-sat-where-when' at the Capt's. table on the boats. Ocean ships do it differently. The Head Purser usually asks, "Are you with the line...are you a 'rev?'--meaning travel rep or sales to the trade. Sometimes the ship's captain just walks the decks, talks to people and writes names and cabin numbers down in his little book. Phyllis knows all about that. Did your folks 'divide up' to meet more people? How did they decide who sat at that 'special table?' What problems came out of it? Your sister Mary and Dick could add more.
Cheers, keep warm.
