Hi, Jane:
Yeah, I didn't mean to 'name drop' about your 'cool' Mercedes. You were the first in our age bracket I ever knew who drove one.

Times have changed and back then all the old ladies (the gods bless them) danced together on the DQ. Marty Stouder would encourage me to get up and dance with many of them as I was one of the few guys (Mickey Frye...others?) who rode the DQ. I never heard the term 'gigolo' back then--thought it was an instrument in a rock band! Yeah a lot of the old ladies were fun--and a number of them more than a 'little funny, funny.'

A friend of mine was purser on a leading cruise line as he had a degree in business and spoke four languages. He'd always be nice to the old ladies on the ships. One day he got a letter from a big new York lawyer revealing that one of the ladies had died and left him an annuity of $250,000 for 'being nice.'
Cheers, laughs,
R. Dale Flick
