I think Judy is right about Bunker C fuel on the MQ. That is my recollection at least. I remember hearing an engineer tell me once on the DQ that her boilers were designed to burn oil and coal. Although, she never took advantage of coal. We need Dennis Shenk, Chief Engineer, to set us straight.
