Believe it or not, "the town that forgot the river" had a story on the re: sailing of the AQ here tonight on the 6pm news!
It was a short story with pictures of the boat and very positive statements about Delaware North and the return of the Delta Queen to the steamboat race here in Louisville.
As well, they mentioned the many landings planned in Louisville this season.
It was a pleasant surprize to say the least!
A little sidebar note for people who have been here at Louisville in the last 30 years or so....the Galt House Hotels are undergoing a $50,000,000.00 refurbishing. It is said the hotels will be "much more asthetically pleasing" after the remodeling. You have to have been there to understand the histarical meaning of that statement.
