nd see, Judy? She DID have another dress besides that black one that used to make ya laugh!{ Judy one time came over here and i hauled outabunch of old Greene junk, photos and such, and she fell out from laughter about Grandma's penchant for the color black. At least that's what she SAID she wa laughin at. And by the way, here's one for ya. I may have told this already..can,t remember. Back in the olde days they had slop jars in the rooms on the older boats. The maids would empty them every AM, the poor souls. Well, Grandmna, Daddy and Uncle Chris were standing out on the deck for newpaper photo op. ..grandma in a white iniform .. All smiling and saying cheese, and a maid not looking threw the contents of a slop jar over board and it hit Granny in the face!! WOn't even repeat what little "saying" emerged around the house in laughter as a result of that error(on Purpose?).
