Congratulations and all the best to you as you embark on your new career as riverlorian. Like it says in the song "Hello Dolly", IT'S NICE TO HAVE YOU BACK WHERE YOU BELONG! Of course you know that, because you are also an excellent calliope player, you'll probably be "forced" to play it from time to time! Capt. Wagner used to "summon" me to play - and I would drag myself out of bed (after being on watch all night!) and go back there to serenade whatever it was he wanted serenaded! Once, it was the Catfish Festival at Vicksburg, as we cruised up the Yazoo at twilight. There were thousands of people downtown! And he always instructed me to play "Down Yonder". You didn't say no to Capt. Wagner -- about anything!! He was a wonderful man, totally devoted to the river, and a true treasure. Anyway, good luck and keep us posted!
