Jim, you aren't aware apparently of the riverboat gambling setup: it is not just another activity like on the cruise ships. Once it is onboard, it takes over. Even if by some miracle this AQ/MQ casino didn't enlarge, WHERE are you going to house the accoutrements like the money counting rooms, the cashier cages, the security monitors, the staff needed to run the casino, the electronic communications equipment Elaine mentioned? If they go by the La. riverboat gaming regulations, you're not talking 4 or 5 new staff members. Even a 418x92 riverboat is going to have MAJOR renovations and curtailment of other activities in order to house gambling. The slot machines might fit in the Engine Room Bar, but at least triple that space for everything else that's needed, including housing. That's what the big deal is. Darin and I both live in riverboat gambling towns. We've seen the cancer spread, as Wilbur Dow so aptly termed it. A riverboat with just a little gambling space is as likely as someone who is just a little bit pregnant!
