Phyllis, Wasn't actress Helen Hayes sort of a "regular" on the MQ? I remember meeting Will Geer, who played Grandpa on "The Waltons" aboard the DQ and a few others. On the BELLE OF LOUISVILLE, we often had celebrities ride on the steamboat race during Kentucky Derby Week. In 1976 I had the pleasure of meeting John Wayne. My, but he was a BIG man!
