my wife Sue and I have been reading all the postings on here, they have been bringing back memories of the fun times we enjoyed back in the early 80's when we first cruised the Delta Queen with Sue's dad and our son Pete. I think half of the reason we continue to go is because of the crew. We were also glad to have received a phone call on Christmas Day from our old friend Lloyd Camel, even though he no longer works the Delta Queen, it is because of people like Lloyd that we continue to sail, that and Sue's and my love for the Mississippi River. I think after more than twenty years of riding the Delta Queen, it is in our blood now.
