I know my grandfather was originally allowed up in the pilothouse back in the early 80's....I have a picture of my Grandfather, my mom, my sister and one of myself at the helm of the Delta Queen while underway. Then came the crash in 1984?? at the Hannibal, MO lock...then no more.
