Indeed, Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn do a LOT more than just talk about helping people and promoting peace They do it! The late Capt. C.S. "Rip" Ware, who was one of the pilots on the Carter trip, sent me two color photos taken in the pilothouse of the DQ showing President Carter at the steering levers and Capt. Ware pointing ahead with the comment "You don't have many friends who can tell the president of the United States what to do and where to go!"
