Wow Ted! You certainly opened the floodgates on memories of the 1979 Carter trip! Thanks for writing it all down for us! I wasn't on the boat for that trip, as I was back at Indiana University, but Judy kept me posted with phone calls, photos and TONS of newspaper clippings from nearly every town on the Upper Mississippi! It was an exciting event to say the least -- and it certainly got the DQ some much needed painting and maintenance in short order! Thanks again for sharing your experiences! Keith
