Sam,
Hi, to both yourself and Becky! Looking forward to seeing you both up here in Louisville for the Race. May the best boat win!
The weather up here for Derby season is always dicey. Last week we were in the high 70's and lower 80's then with a brutal cold front, had a weekend in the upper 40's and lower 50's.
The long term forecast in the Louisville area doesn't look too good for the next 10 days. Cool (highs in the upper 50's lower 60's) and alot of showers (not monsoonal or anything to worry about).
I remember a Derby Day not too distant where we had sleet in the afternoon prior to the race.
To summise...plan for early spring and layered clothing, pack the umbrella, and you will be ready for what ever the weather throws you.
Have a great trip up here to Louisville, I will be watching your progress up the Ohio and see you when you get here!
~Travis~
