Gary, Since you are effort will be regarding WV and the river, you might consider investigating the background of Letha C, Greene (Capt. Tom's wife.) She was born on Panther Mtn. near Vinton (Nicholas Cty), WV. Taught school in Swiss and Dunbar. Met Capt. Tom Greene when she took an excursion on the TOM GREENE in 1927.
