Pete- Were your two cousins the two little girls that were close to Amy 's age? If so, I think they really made the trip for Amy. I was running the Purser's Office at the time with Henry Mitchell serving as the "Chief Purser" or Hotel Manager as they designate the position now. There were several stories involving Amy that I remember. The Forward Cabin Lounge was not air conditioned yet and in those days we just opened the doors for a pleasant breeze to flow throughout. The problem on the upper Mississippi at times was an over abundance of house flies. One morning after finishing the Cash Report I was sitting at the Purser's Window thinking Amy and the girls are being too quiet out there in the Lounge. I leaned forward to see out in the lounge and saw dozens of plastic cups turned upside down on the table tops. After investigation I discovered that the girls had spent the morning trapping files under the cups. Amy was a delight, contrary to her public image at the time. She was just extremely camera shy.
